Call of Duty 6 goes back to the present |

Not many details at the moment but a very reliable source was present at a presentation at a conference held by in-game ads firm Massive that confirmed that Infinity Ward will be taking the helm for the next COD, and that it will be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It will be a direct sequel with the stroy following on from the end of COD4. This, of course, effectively ends the myth that the next COD was to be set in the future, but at least it’s not in WWII again and that should please all the COD4 fans. More details as we get them.

good to hear its modern warfare again. cod4 was the best game i have ever played. im still playing it since it came out. cod5 is a good game too but i prefer modern. im sick and tired of those old weapons crap, and being a marine or sas soldier is awesome. hopefully modern warfare 2 wont be bringing out laser guns. if they will then its just going to be another halo or some star wars crap, but lets just wait and see.
