Eagle-eyed - yet vastly inferior - gaming site Kotaku have spotted some new gameplay footage for Prototype over at the game’s official website. You can tell from the vid that it wasn’t supposed to be shown until CES next year, but we won’t let that get in the way. Just spare a thought for the poor Activision guy who uploaded it, he’s probably getting shouted at right now.

The video - not a trailer - is good stuff, showing off some of the game’s open-world free running, gliding, jumping, sneaking and… wait, did that guy just elbow-drop a tank? He did?! Awesome. This game is so pre-ordered! Prototype is slated for a April 2009 release.
