Courtesy of Dutch gaming site XGN, these 12 screenshots really show what a labor of love this series is for developer Naughty Dog, who seem to have perfected the realistic rendering of denim.

In addition to Nathan Drake’s virtual money-maker, these screens showcase the incredible amount of detail - for both the characters and the environment - going into this sequel, which looks to improve upon its already excellent progenitor in every way possible. Guess they were really serious about the putting the PS3’s processing power to better use this time ’round.
