Game Republic scraps Folklore

So maybe Folklore wasn’t the biggest game the PS3 has seen when it was released in 2007. It could have used some more voice acting and another world hub other than the small town of Doolin. It was however very unique with its Netherworld integration and countless enemies to absorb. Sadly enough the founder of Game Republic, Yoshiki Okamoto, has confirmed with 1UP that it will not make a sequel to Folklore and that talks about a PSP version of the game have ceased as well.
