February 27, 2009. That is either the date that the world will end, or Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li will actually impress audiences. To whet the appetite of you Street Fighter junkies, Capcom has finally released a Japanese trailer for the (highly?) anticipated action-flick. What can we expect from the Chun Li movie? Apparently we can expect Balrog, played by Clark Duncan, M. Bison, played by Neal McDonough, and Vega, played by Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas. Let me just repeat that one more time. Vega is being played by rapper Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas. Still sound stupid? Here’s to hoping that the man can pull it off, and this Street Fighter movie isn’t as horrible as its distant cousin.
I almost typed that without laughing.

She couldn’t fight her way out of a wet paper bag. How on earth was she cast as Chun Li?

Even if this movie sucks, it’s already 39402x better than the other one.
