A few days ago the internet was set ablaze (well, not really) by reports of Microsoft being one of the companies who would hold business meetings in online worlds such as Home to reduce traveling costs and harm to the environment. Now Microsoft is telling CVG those reports are not to be believed by saying, “Microsoft will not be using Home as a tool for virtual meetings. With fantastic Microsoft-developed products and applications like Live Meeting and even Xbox Live Party, we have everything we need to host a virtual meeting in-house.” The Internet. Go figure.
