Playstation Home is getting a whole ton of grief for being pointless, lifeless, boring and full of guys who go around grinding against digital women. At this point I don’t know if anyone is sure if Home is going to really work out to be anything interesting or not. Despite this, EA is jumping in without abandon and creating the EA Sports Complex, which is in production right now and will launch in Spring.
EA says that it worked closely with Sony to create the Complex, which will be designed around attracting both casual and hardcore gamers (rolling eyes). In the complex players will be able to play exclusive EA Sports multiplayer games, interact with EA Sports fans and follow leaderboards across the nation. Complex visitors will also be able to watch trailers from upcoming EA Sports games and get content for their PS3. No word on whether or not a leaderboard for Quincying will be available.
This won’t be the end of EA in Home. The company is working closely with Sony to get more of their products and game lines into the virtual graveyard.

The more they resist, the more it becomes Second Life.
They should have spent their money on making the XMB more usable during games as well as cross-game chat and other useful features that the XBL Dashboard has and the XMB doesn’t.

they shouldnt have spent the money on it.
They should have just improved the friends feature on PSN. But Im really glad they didnt touch the menus like they did on Xbox. Nobody likes that “thing”. Glad my xbox doesnt go online so it never updated.
