By now we are aware and saddened by the amount of layoffs that hit the 1UP Network and EGM Magazine. Though there is nothing we can do about it but shake our fists in anger, the last remnant of the magazines 20 year run will be available to all online. On his blog, former editor-in-chief James Mielke took a tour of the office and gave us a look at the inner workings of 1UP one final time. The final issue has Street Fighter IV on the cover which ironically just celebrated its 20 year anniversary not too long ago. Mielke suggests we print it out and put it in our mailboxes for nostalgia’s sake. That doesn’t sound too bad to us.
