Monolith is treating us to another tease of F.E.A.R. 2 Project Origin with a new trailer, this time showing off Armacham’s Elite Powered Armor aka “the solution to everything you fear,” which is what we’ll be referring to it as from now on. This beast will be available in both the single-player campaign as well as the multiplayer modes and brings with it some mighty firepower in the form of double chain guns and shoulder mounted rocket launchers. It’s also capable of repairing itself and the option to use thermal vision will likely make hunting down foot soldiers at least somewhat of a blast.

In other F.E.A.R. 2 news, next to the PS3 demo that will arrive through Qore mid-January, PC and Xbox 360 will be getting a sampling of the game around the same time as well, a Monolith community manager has confirmed: “I can’t give specifics on the release of the demo because of “marketing/pr strategy” but both consoles and pc will be getting a demo all around the same time.”
