Good news for all the Mirror’s Edge three star time trial completionists out there — along with announcing that the PC version of the game is shipping to stores, EA and DICE have confirmed the release date for the downloadable content that was announced back in December. The Pure map pack will arrive on Jan. 29 on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and brings with it nine races across seven new Time Trial maps. Leaving the city behind will set us back $10, or 800 MS Points in the 360’s case.

If the different visual direction of these maps is any indication of where DICE is prepared to go with the DLC, perhaps wishing for a medieval setting and a certain someone named Altair to make an appearance wouldn’t be out of the question? With Ubisoft’s blessing, of course.
