MadWorld, a multi-platform game?
BY Adam Sandberg Jan. 19th, 2009 More on:

Our gory beloved Wii title MadWorld has been up for debate numerous times regarding its clear focus on ultra-violence. All the world’s major cities have seen huge demonstrations, with thousands of protesters walking the streets with signs such as “MadWorld - Not in my world!” or “I bought the Wii so my child could be calmed down - not f*cked up!“. News is that when MadWorld went through its rating progress in Australia, Gameplayer noticed that the game was listed as “multi-platform” in the classification report. Is it a mistake? Is it proof that MadWorld will be heading to the 360 and PS3? We haven’t a clue. We do know that we’ll keep you updated.

I wouldn’t be shocked. The Wii is seen as a family console and the only reason No More Heroes wasn’t ported over was its Wii-specific combat controls. This reminds me when I thought Viewtiful Joe would be a GameCube exclusive forever.

People actually wrote “I bought the Wii so my child could be calmed down - not f*cked up!” on a sign and walked around with it? Source?

Here’s an idea: don’t buy the game for your kids. Also, maybe cut down on the blatant swearing? PROBLEM SOLVED.

      It’s a mistake, I’m sure of it.

My bad, I didn’t recognize the satire when I should have.
