With Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II now golden, game producer Mark Noseworthy brings us the exciting news that the game may see some DLC just after the game’s release. When talking launch plans on the game’s official website, Noseworthy said they are “extremely interested in working with Microsoft to offer several types of free and premium downloadable content… In fact, there may even be some DLC available during the first few weeks after the game’s released.” No specific DLC info was reveled, but multiplayer devotees should be happy to know that two additional maps also arrive within the game’s first weeks.

*sigh* content left out of the game and put out as DLC for a quick buck?

Well the “Day Zero” stuff that they’re talking about, the stuff that was “left out of the game”, is free and is supposed to be out the same day as it launches. The “premium DLC” is a whole other thing.
