Excuse me sir, your firmware is ready

When Sony said the v.2.60 update for the PS3 was coming soon, they really meant it. Hours after the post went up on the PlayStation.Blog we were greeted with the firmware update message upon turning on the PS3. This update includes guest access to the PlayStation Store, support for Divx 3.11 videos and an optional photo gallery application. For another 100MB of space we can arrange our photos in ways we’ve only dreamed about.
