When Sony said the v.2.60 update for the PS3 was coming soon, they really meant it. Hours after the post went up on the PlayStation.Blog we were greeted with the firmware update message upon turning on the PS3. This update includes guest access to the PlayStation Store, support for Divx 3.11 videos and an optional photo gallery application. For another 100MB of space we can arrange our photos in ways we’ve only dreamed about.

bhive01 January 21st, 2009 at 9:06 am	It broke my remote play though… PSP–>PS3 was pretty awesome. Might be because I have custom firmware though.

bhive01 January 21st, 2009 at 9:07 am	Sorry for the double post, but the ability to play 3vix encoded movies is awesome. It now plays everything I have. All those DVDs I encoded forever ago now work.
