The last time we wrote about the DC comic based on Prototype we were looking at an August 2008 release for the comic and a summer release for the game itself. My how the times have changed! The comic for Prototype will now be released on April 1, 2009 for $3.99 according to the DC WildStorm website. Likewise the game is expected to also come out in April. Perhaps the comic and game will be released simultaneously to increase profit or maybe even a special edition bundle will be announced? Everyone else is doing it.
