Dear comrades and friends, it is with happy hearts we inform you that EA has officially announced Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition will be released for the PlayStation 3 in March.

This marks the first time the alternate-history strategy series series, known just as much for its cheesy, cheeky and scenery chewing live-action casting as its real-time strategy gameplay, has graced the PS3. The additional features making this version “ultimate-ier” and “edition-ier” than the Xbox 360 and PC versions are the inclusion of five new multiplayer maps, behind-the-scenes videos and trailers, development team strategies, detailed unit profiles and the official Red Alert 3 soundtrack.

Included at no extra charge - improved performance and enhanced graphics courtesy of the “high-defness of Blu-ray,” which should make the “Girls of Red Alert 3” documentary worth repeated viewings.
