Our urge to challenge strangers to beat our high scores in a rail jumping, wall running races to the death in Mirror’s Edge is going to have to wait a little bit longer. We expected the Time Trial downloadable content for Mirror’s Edge to be released on Jan. 29, 2009, but Big Download is reporting a spokesperson from EA says the pack has been pushed back into February.
EA apparently says delaying the release of the Time Trial content is meant, “To offer a completely smooth experience for players.” The rough translation to this statement is that it’s just not done yet. We dont’ know when in February the downloadable content will finally be released, but the PS3 exclusive map for Mirror’s Edge is still on track for a Jan. 29 release.

MAN! I want an Xbox 360 JUST for this game. I heard it’s a short play but an awesome one at that. I had the chance to play it a bit at Micro Center a few weeks ago. It was an experience, I’ll tell you that. I loved it. Now I just need the cash to get a 360 and the game. *Sigh*
