The more and more we see of Wanted: Weapons of Fate the more and more interested we become in the game. At first it just seemed like an extremely late attempt to cash in on the film, but looking at this new dev diary and the trailers we’ve seen the game is starting to look a little bit more exciting. The developers are obviously very excited about the ability to curve bullets, but we’re wondering how long until that mechanic becomes an exercise in repetition.
The cover system actually seems more exciting as it looks like it simply flows incredibly well. If the levels really do work like a giant shooting puzzle that players can sort of flow through while taking cover than that instantly catapults the game into the realm of awesome. Hopefully more awesome than the mid-range action flick the game is based on.
