Square Enix is looking to expand its reach into genres it hasn’t yet explored in order to make the most profit — something we saw an example of when they signed on to publish Quantum of Solace in Japan. It won’t abandon the franchises that made it so popular so easily anytime soon though. According to Final Fantasy Series Square Enix will bring both Dissidia Final Fantasy for PSP and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 for DS to North America on August 31, 2009. Dissidia is a fighting game featuring popular Final Fantasy characters and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 follows Roxas in between Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2.
