To commemorate the release of Burnout Paradise’s Legendary Cars pack, available tomorrow on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace, Criterion has created four new video intros to their take on the “Car Stars” of Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Knight Rider, and The Dukes of Hazzard.

The videos, posted after the jump, really showcase the level of fanboy fanaticsm Criterion put into rendering these nostalgic facsimiles of K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard‘, the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, and the Delorean from Back to the Future. They’ve even created custom music for each vehicle, a tip of the hat to their respective television show or movie origin.

You can view the cars in the Junkyard before heading to the in-game Burnout Store to to purchase them individually ($1.99/160 MS), though Doc Brown’s time traveling ride runs a little extra ($3.99/320 MS), or collectively at a discount ($7.99/600 MS).
