The love for this game just keeps on rollin’ in. This time the love comes out of the AIAS awards ceremony in Las Vegas, NV. Taking home a whopping eight awards, including Console Game of the Year and Overall Game of the Year, LittleBigPlanet developers are probably standing around with big smiles, jutting their pelvises awkwardly, flailing peace signs, and possibly hanging their tongues out.
Some other awards given out worth mention were Outstanding Achievement in Game Design: World of Goo, Outstanding Achievement in Story - Original: Fallout 3, and the big shocker of the night’s Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year: World of Warcraft: Wraith of the Lich King.
If you want to see everything that LittleBigPlanet won, along with all the other winners and categories, head on over here. You’ll even see all the lame-o losers which, surprisingly, includes Grand Theft Auto IV.

People should have played to LBP before voting for it… they would have realise that it’s a not fun game with clunky control and pretty boring and repetitive even with 4 player…
I voted for it for the art direction and technical aspect, but Overall game of the year… really… ?
man, I guess Mario galaxy was game of the century then…

Haha they gave Fallout 3 best achievement in story what a joke. Not only did fallout 3 have the worst ending I’ve ever played in ANY game but the story was mangled from the original fallouts which were simply brilliant.
Fallout 3 story was AWFUL.
