New Riddick gameplay videos feature eye shining, drone slicing

Atari has just released a couple of new gameplay videos for the Chronicles of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena, which features all the brooding ambiance of the cinematic trailer sans Vin Diesel’s menacing, monotone voice over.

The videos, posted below, show off some of the revamped gameplay mechanics, such as Riddick’s ability to see in the dark, sneak in the shadows and perform flashy, deadly attacks with his double-wielded ulaks. Though some of the combos look sickeningly sweet, most of the game will favor stealth over combat, relying on Riddick’s sneaking skills to take down Mercs and Drones, the Borg-like cyborgs created by the Dark Athena crew from the surviving remnants of raided ships.
