PSP misses its Grand Theft Auto
BY Antonio Hernandez Feb. 28th, 2009 More on:

Oh PSP, you poor thing, abandoned like a discarded doll by your former lover. How dare GTA do that to you. It should be ashamed, going over to the DS, that slut. It’s alright though, head of PlayStation Portable marketing, John Koller, wants to get back to the good old days too.

Koller, while talking to MTV Multiplayer, admitted that the announcement of Chinatown Wars “raised a few eyebrows”. Mostly because he believes that the DS audience is predominantly 12 and under. However, the move does leave a small hole in the PSP lineup. As of now, there have been no hints pointing to another GTA game for the portable.

Doesn’t bother Koller though, as he says that there are always talks with Rockstar.

“We’ve had two that are the top two sellers on PSP right now. So, there’s definitely continued conversations with Rockstar on all their brands. That’s nothing that’s left the PlayStation family,” said Koller. Hopefully he’s right. I wouldn’t mind a little GTA IV content to wipe the dust off my PSP.
