Today I went to download the new Prince of Persia DLC and ran into a slight roadblock. No connecting to LIVE to get more points. I tried a few times and still nothing. Unplugged my modem, connected again, rebooted the 360. No, no and no. My ability to connect to LIVE seemed to be missing. So I followed the on screen instructions and headed over to www.xbox.com/support. I was greeted with a friendly message stating that LIVE was down and they were having problems with some accounts.

“Users may experience difficulties with account recovery, account management, Marketplace functions and/or making purchases. We are aware of the problem and working to resolve the technical issues. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience,” the site said to me. Not the end of the world, but we’d figure we’d let everyone know that LIVE is a little under weather today, so if you can’t get points or download anything, that’s why. Maybe it’s sick because EA didn’t send Microsoft any get well soon wishes.
