F.E.A.R. 2 DLC gets small
BY Chad George Mar. 10th, 2009 More on:

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin wants you to come back this April for more scary little girl action… and we’re not talking the cookie selling kind. Monolith has announced the release of some free downloadable content that includes a Toy Soldiers map pack, a premium theme, and a picture pack.

The upcoming map pack sounds interesting for those looking to expand the multiplayer portion of the game, allowing them to experience it from a totally different perspective. Players will be only a few inches tall while dodging pinball bumpers in “FullTilt,” climbing up hospital equipment in “Cockroach,” and fighting it out on a sandcastle in “Recess.”

The DLC was so hotly anticipated that it even got an early release Tuesday on Xbox Live, only to be taken down shortly thereafter. No reports on what exactly happened or if anyone actually had the chance to grab it, but Xbox Live’s Major Nelson gave us this update, “The F.E.A.R 2 content was pulled for the moment, it will be back but I don’t have an ETA.” Pulled for the moment = oops!
