Pata-Pata-Pata-Pon! Oh yes, the gloriously giddy Patapon 2 is marching ever nearer its release date. Good news, of course, but May is like years away. So for itchy rhythm-fingered PlayStation Portable owners — and those of you yet to sample Patapon’s charms — we’ve got just the thing: a flash demo taster.

Patapon 2: The Art of War - Official Flash Minigame may not have a snappy title, but it’s a fun little beast. On top of that, each level you complete unlocks special items and images that you can use to make your own custom Patapon wallpaper. It’s only available until Mar. 16 though, so catch it while you can.

The full PSP game, which promises 200% more content than the original, nearly 100 missions, new environments and characters, is available from May 5 for $19.99.
