After our hands-on time with the upcoming Ghostbusters game it is hard to imagine adding more before the release date, but with a year to play with, things can get all crazy. Imagine the possibility of commanding Venkman with your voice, EndWar style, only to have him give you the finger. Oh, what could have been.
Ghostbusters Executive Producer Brendan Goss has said that the game actually had the voice command technology removed because it wasn’t “a good fit.” Goss said in an interview that the game has the ability fully functional but it just didn’t fit in with some of the in-game personalities. He adds that people just want the characters that they remember from the movies, so they ended up removing the feature.

I think that would have been great, but have to go with the developers. Whatever makes this game stay true to the series is what I want. I got the Ghostbusters on speed dial man!
