Metalocalypse animators branching out into videogames
BY Kristen Spencer Mar. 18th, 2009 More on:

Titmouse, the animation studio behind Adult Swim’s Metalocalypse, is branching out into videogames with a brand spanking new division, appropriately dubbed Titmouse Games.

This isn’t their first foray into virtually rendered woods, having created the cartoon rock n’ roll cinematics for the last four Guitar Hero titles, as well as the upcoming spin-off Guitar Hero: Metallica, but their first solo project, a console action RPG titled Seven Haunted Seas, is decidedly different from anything they’ve ever done before - with the exception that it looks equally awesome.

The game is described as “a dark comedic tale about an undead pirate, Scurvy Pete, that returns from hell to find a dark, post-apocalyptic future where he must right all his wrongs to restore the world.” In other words, he’s a steam-punk zombie pirate.
