Dedication at its extreme is awesome. If you’re playing Guitar Hero on loud volume way past midnight and your neighbors have been banging on your door for hours and you’re still thinking “Fuck it,” you have my full support. That’s exactly what Robert Snively, enthusiastic gamer from Ohio, got himself arrested for.
The police showed up at 1:30 a.m. at his apartment after numerous complaints from his aggravated neighbors. He tried to explain that his passionate playing came from playing online with his friend, but the police officers still issued him a citation, which means our guitar hero is heading for court in April.
I guess this is one of those rare examples where videogames don’t turn the actual player into a potential murderer, but rather those present within a radius of 20 meters.
