Last month everyone witnessed the teaser that shook the masses with a lasting effect. That’s right, Mass Effect 2. First, you saw that everyone’s favorite Commander was taken out in action, then you saw a Geth soldier wearing the outfit that we would usually associate with Shepard, then everyone was like, “Oh, snap!”

Well, that may just change based on a product description now surfacing on the Amazon page for Mass Effect 2. “The second chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy takes you to the darkest reaches of space, where you must uncover the mystery behind the disappearance of humans across many worlds. Prepare yourself for a suicide mission to save mankind. Travel the galaxy to assemble a team of soldiers and combat specialists, and launch an all-out assault on the heart of enemy territory.”

It’s still somewhat vague, and we have yet to know the enemy that we will be launching an assault on. What we do know is that Commander Shepard could still be alive as the product features mention, “The second act of BioWare’s epic sci-fi trilogy continues the story of Commander Shepard and humanity’s first steps onto the galactic stage,” and, “Deep character customization options let you create your own vision of Commander Shepard.” This could mean that there’s not only more options to tailor your character and their story to how you see fit, but also more getting it on with humans and space aliens. Alright!
