Like promised, Crytek is showing off the recently announced CryENGINE 3 at GDC this week and IGN seems to be first one they sent a little tech demo to.

The video above shows off some urban areas and plenty of locations that might make one think a console port of Crysis is the first thing on Crytek’s to-do list, but don’t get your hopes up too high after seeing the nano suit characters in the video. As IGN points out, whoever put together this demo might have simply recycled some of the existing assets. So far, there have been no games announced that will take advantage of CryENGINE 3, but after seeing it in action we can’t wait to see which devs will jump on this.
