We have previously shown you pictures and a teaser trailer of the next Colin McRae game, DiRT 2. Now we have a video that actually has some substance to it instead of women showering and cooking bacon while cars rumble outside. Enter Ken Block, co-founder of DC Shoes, teammate of the late McRae, and all around really awesome guy to talk about his participation in the upcoming Codemasters project and the influence Colin McRae had on his career.

Block is helping the dev team get things right by acting as a technical consultant, advising on rally racing and car handling. “Colin McRae is one of the main reasons that I am a rally driver. He is a big inspiration to me and the way I drive my rally car,” said Ken Block. “It’s really an honor to be a contributor to the creation of Colin McRae: DiRT 2 and to be able to continue the passion that Colin had for rally and for these videogames.”

While the video does a really nice job of displaying Block’s amazing driving skills and showing off what we might actually be doing in the game, we still have unanswered questions. The major one being, is the wearing of sunglasses inside really necessary?
