Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood brings sibling rivalry to the wild west
BY Kristen Spencer Mar. 31st, 2009 More on:

We’ve been looking forward to digging our spurs into Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, the prequel to Ubisoft’s original western shooter, which will have players slipping into the Stetsons of the army-deserting, bank-robbing, pistol-packing McCall brothers.

But this latest twist, shared with Kotaku, has raised our excitement to a fever pitch - it seems that despite the age-old saying, brothers who rob banks, attack trains and waste rebels together don’t necessarily stay together.

“It’s a story about the ties between brothers and how they can be destroyed,” said producer Romain de Waubert de Genlis, stressing that though the game builds on cooperative gameplay between the brothers, it ends with confrontation. “It’s a very dramatic story, mature, adult.”
