Jetpack-driven Dark Void now has another thing going for it aside from its brilliant upside down cover maneuvers. Renowned Battlestar Galactica composer Bear McCreary has signed with Capcom to create the score for the game. Since McCreary has done one hell of a job sending shivers down our spines during speeches, fights, revalations and kamikaze attacks in Battlestar, his work is sure to make an impact on the gaming experience in Dark Void as well. Dark Void will be the first time McCreary composes for a game — and apparently his affection for Capcom’s project has him thrilled.
“When I got the call from Capcom to work on the music for Dark Void, I jumped at the chance to do it, considering my love for Capcom games.” said McCreary. “I have been looking for the opportunity to compose a game score for a long time, but I’ve been waiting for the right one. Dark Void’s epic story and unique gameplay drew me in immediately and I have had a lot of fun working on the project.”
Dark Void will confuse your sense of direction later this year on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
