
Director Hideki Kamiya wants to be “completely upfront” about his latest project, Bayonetta, which puts players in the gun-equipped boots of a witch who uses her magical hair as both weapon and wardrobe.
“We would hate for someone to think [Bayonetta] is a heartwarming tale and then buy the game to discover it is really a sadistically hard game (I hopeā¦) where you play as a witch who laughs as she destroys angelic
enemies,” said Kamiya in his first “Bayo-Blog” post.
Seeing as this is the man behind the fenetically fast-paced Devil May Cry, we weren’t exactly expecting a walk in the park, but we appreciate his warning nonetheless.
