We already know that EA and Double Fine’s Brütal Legend is coming out this autumn for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Well, now Variety’s Ben Fritz is shaking things up with news of a Wii version of the rock ‘n roll adventure. According to Fritz, comments by Double Fine indicating only two versions of Brütal Legend also indicate that the rumored Wii version will be made by another developer.

Now, EA hasn’t commented on this themselves, so we don’t really know anything solid yet. However, it wouldn’t be insane for EA to hunt down another developer to create what could be the most lucrative edition of what Fritz says could be a major EA franchise.
