After a lengthy delay Activision has given the green light to Prototype for a June 9 release date for North America and June 5 in Europe. Activision also dropped off the intro cinematic above as well as some screenshots. The trailer sets up the basis for the game with Alex Mercer vowing revenge on the person or people responsible for turning him into the half human, half monster he has become. Check out the vid and let us know if you’ll be raising hell in NYC as Mercer when Prototype comes out in a couple months.
