Size doesn’t matter in new F.E.A.R. 2 map pack
BY Adam Sandberg Apr. 13th, 2009 More on:

In case you’ve felt really big lately, being pissed at your TV or your whole house since it’s so extremely tiny in comparison, the new map pack Toy Soldiers for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin coming April 16 might be something for you. The completely free addition for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 containing three different levels will completely shift your perspective, since players get to run around and duck, jump and shoot as really small soldiers in rather weird locations.

The map pack’s three levels are: FullTilt, which takes place inside a retro pinball machine where players can duck behind flippers instead of barrels. Annoying sounds guaranteed. Next is Cockroach, a gory hospital where players fight it out surrounded by needles, pill bottles and IV tubing and last but not least, the Recess map, a giant sand castle.

Warner Bros. has stated that this is the first map pack out of three that’s heading for F.E.A.R. 2 and although Toy Soldiers is free, we’re not sure that the rest of them are.

They really screwed the game up imo. Practiclly everything that could’ve been wrong was wrong. The original game was really, really great but this is utterly, utterly average. Go download the free Fear Combat instead of this DLC, you’ll have helluva lot more fun.
