Oh Twitter, once again you bring us news of something too small to be worthy of a press release but just big enough to warrant a little early morning write-up. Today’s mid-week tweet comes from 3D Realms’ George Brussard who whistles tunes of a Duke Nukem Forever milestone the company has reached. “Closing out a milestone this week. 71 more tasks to do and we started with probably 800-900,” Brussard tweeted between feeling like crap and deciding whether to go play poker or not.
Started with 800-900.. 71 left…so that means what, we’ve got another year or so of waiting to look forward to?

If we all consentrate our thoughts maybe we’ll get another screenshot this year. Maybe even two!!
The game is already looking dated, or rather, looking dated AGAIN.
