Ghostbusters coverart exhibits rarest of traits, truth in advertising
BY Kristen Spencer Apr. 16th, 2009 More on:

Atari could have just slapped the iconic ghost bustin’ logo on all copies of Ghostbusters: The Video Game, letting the general public puzzle out the difference themselves. But in a surprisingly forthcoming move, they’ve actually highlighted the drastically different art styles for all the world to see. The Wii, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS versions will get the stylized version on the left, while the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions will get the realistic version on the right. Both versions look great, but its still nice of them to so clearly differentiate between the E-rated version’s goofy ghosts and the T-rated version’s slobbering hell beasts for all those gift-giving grandmothers out there.

In addition to looking drastically different, the Terminal Reality developed high definition version and Red Fly developed waggle friendly version also play quite differently, making this a title that might actually be worth buying twice.
