At the company’s press conference in London today, Bethesda’s Pete Hines announced Fallout New Vegas. The game is not a sequel to Fallout 3 but a new stand-alone title in the Fallout universe. Hines said they are working on the game with Obsidian Entertainment, the developer of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and Neverwinter Nights 2.
New Vegas is developed for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and is expected to release some time in 2010. More details were promised further down the road.
