Banjo-Tooie trailer prepares us for Apr. 29 release
BY Lee Bradley Apr. 22nd, 2009 More on:

Next week Xbox LIVE Arcade plays host to Banjo-Tooie, the old-school N64 follow-up to Banjo-Kazooie. Priced at 1200 Microsoft points, expect Banjo-Kazooie to be exactly the same as you remember it, ‘cept a bit better. You see, in porting the game to XBLA, Rare have taken the opportunity to spruce things up a little. This time around you’ll find better draw-distances, a smoother frame-rate AND full support for Stop ‘N Swap.

Stop ‘N Swap, for those staring at the screen quizzically, is a feature promised for the first two Banjo games that would allow you to unlock content in one game, by doing stuff in the other. To take advantage of the feature you would of had to whip out one cartridge, say the Lord’s prayer backwards, then pop the other cartridge back in before a certain time… or something. Anyway, it never really came to be. Until now.

Banjo-Tooie jumps onto Xbox LIVE Apr. 29 for 1200 MP. Check out the trailer above.
