This is one of those rare occasions where we can happily report that a game’s release date has actually been pushed forward. THQ has just sent over a message confirming that the European PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release date for Red Faction: Guerrilla has changed to Friday June 5th, a week earlier than previously announced.
To get a sampling of the destroy-everything-in-sight gameplay, a public demo has been available on both Xbox LIVE and PSN for a few days. It’s short, but rather sweet we must say.

I played the demo on Xbox Live yesterday and the destructible buildings are a blast. I’m really looking forward to it now.

I’m also looking forward to this. I had the demo early through the key-codes at Thq. Not mind-blowing graphics, but the physics are amazing and what makes the game so darn fun. I don’t get tired of playing that demo, so it’s good to see the release date pushed forward.
