Codemasters has released a new trailer for Overlord II, profiling a bevy of new gameplay info. Two missing elements of the original Overlord’s “Pikmin but evil,” gameplay have finally been confirmed, these being the ability to actually become a minion and, of course, political espionage. In Overlord II you play a hidden descendant of the first game’s protagonist forced to live in the frozen north. The game will center around this would-be conquer trying to take back his birthright by any means necessary, which in this case involves becoming a minion and dressing up as faux-Roman soldiers. I’m not joking.

Overlord II is coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on June 23rd. Some new screens below.
