Dragon Age: Origins to be SecuROM free
BY Rain Anderson May. 4th, 2009 More on:

BioWare’s community coordinator Chris Priestly has announced via the Dragon Age forums that the retail version of Dragon Age: Origins will only be using “a basic disk check and it will not require online authentication.” Meaning you won’t wave to jump online to verify that you’ve actually bought the game if you want to play the game offline. This goes for all copies of the game distributed by EA or BioWare.

The game is still scheduled for release later this year on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
