First World at War DLC sells a whole lot more
BY Rain Anderson May. 5th, 2009 More on:

Looks like Treyarch have managed to construct themselves a gift that just keeps giving with Call of Duty: World at War. The first map pack for the game, cleverly named “Map Pack 1,” has been downloaded over two million times, the company has announced today. We received word of the one million goal on April 1st so the second million was sold in just over a month. Both numbers are for the worldwide downloads on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

If Treyarch will be able give birth to another golden goose remains to be seen, but they certainly are “hard at work on Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 and look forward to delivering that in June,” as Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch puts it.
