New Beyond Good & Evil 2 footage? |

Ever wonder what Beyond Good & Evil 2 would look like filtered through the motion sickness-inducing camera lens of Bourne Director Paul Greengrass?
Take a couple of Dramamine, crank up your speakers and wonder no longer, because Kotaku received a tip about some truly jaw-dropping footage featuring a very Jade-like young lady dodging police gunfire, racing down hallways, leaping over some scared old guy on the toilet, and scaling buildings before escaping in a waiting helicopter with half-a-dozen disgruntled boys in blue hot on her tail. No sign of any tough-talking sentient pigs, but everything else about this trailer seems to mesh with Ubisoft’s 2008 announcement teaser for the underappreciated original’s high-definition successor.

This looks like an incredibly souped-up Mirror’s Edge, and if it is indeed real then it’s definitely my next essential purchase. Seems like aaaages since I slipped the original into my dusty old xbox.

Looks like an animation showcase.

It looked a little too good. The motion was a little too fluid and the graphics were a little too real. That definitely looks like Jade though. Maybe that’s what Assassin’s Creed and Mirror’s Edge really were. Tech demos for BG&E 2.

this is probably either a cinematic or target footage, something for the programmers and designers to aim for in the finished product. i got my fingers crossed for the latter
