If you want to be among the first to see some actual footage from Assassin’s Creed II then you better pack your bags and move to the UK. Like right now.

Channel Five will be airing The Da Vinci Code this weekend and during it also the first “full trailer” of Assassin’s Creed II. Apparently teasers from the game have already been airing on the channel since last Monday during the promos for the movie and some other shows, but the main trailer will be shown during the flick as it airs this Sunday at 8pm. Once it does, it will no doubt make its presence known on the internet shortly after.

We’re not really quite sure what to make of Ubisoft opening the marketing purse for TV advertisements 7-8 months before the game is released, but it’s certainly an interesting approach.
