Sega will be releasing seven oldies on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, all re-worked in high-definition. While all games will be released on Xbox Live Arcade, oddly only one of the seven games will see daylight on PlayStation Network. The games are: Gunstar Heroes (XBLA & PSN), Altered Beast (XBLA), Shinobi (arcade) (XBLA), Comix Zone (XBLA), Phantasy Star 2 (XBLA), Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (XBLA), and Sonic and Knuckles (XBLA).
The games will support online leaderboards as well as network play (except Phantasy Star 2, Shinobi, Comix Zone.) and will be out individually “this summer,” with the exception of Sonic and Knuckles which is marked for a “late summer” release.

This is worthless, intelligent people would just go out and buy Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection.

Except for the fact that Gunstar Heroes sadly isn’t included in Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis collection!

What game would you play online with anyways? Alter Beast? Gunstar is the only one worth it the rest are in the new Sega Collection.
