Yesterday, Joystiq posted an image of a survey that hinted at a downloadable game rental service, a concept that supports the rumors of a UMDless PSP Go. Rumors that gain more traction with a new article on Develop which states that developers have already been told about the game rental concept — apparently the idea was pitched at GDC two months ago.

The survey proposes a service where you download both new and old games for a monthly fee. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Make it happen, Sony.
