Waves, sun, mega-ramps that lead to even larger mega-ramps. Yes, Burnout Paradise’s Big Surf Island has it all. Consider it a beachside hide away, where all the hustle and bustle of the city can just sink slowly into the sea. Yeah, there are cars to race, 9 new ones in fact, and sure there are more freeburn races and everything else you’ve come to expect from Criterion’s incredibly high quality DLC, but Big Surf Island isn’t about all that. It’s about peacefully gazing out across the ocean, maybe sipping lemonade with a cute little summer romance, several hundred feet up after having jumped through a giant doughnut.
Enjoy the trailer now and look for the Big Surf Island on the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 when it’s released on June 11th.

I like what I’m seeing, and I’ll probably get it because I’ve got every other pack but the party pack. The ramps look like fun too, but I wonder if I’ll get my money’s worth on the pack. So far I’m not convinced that I have with the other packs. At 10$ a pop I doubt I’ve spent more than a few hours with each set of cars and the cops and robbers pack.
I wish they would give it away like they did with the motorcycle pack. Then everyone would have it, and I could play with all my friends and family. Like many of the other packs, it’s unlikely that they would buy it and I would have to play it with randoms. Playing with randoms just isn’t the same, and you run the risk of playing with asshats.

@bhive01: I know how you feel. I got a couple friends to get Cops and Robbers. Now that we got the achievements no one want to play anymore.
